IDSG Government College- Library and Information Centre
Our library came into an existence in 1948. It is located in middle wing of the college to serve the user community. In the midst of its excellent setup of academic activities, the library acts as a nerve centre catering to the needs of the students, faculty members of the Arts, Science, Commerce, Management, Computer Science and other humanities departments. The IDSG Government College library is shaped as a centre of excellence for academic and research pursuits, keeping it open to the changes brought about by Information Technology. To fulfil the Vision and Mission of our institution, beautiful library was established with the collection of 331 books and now it is rich with more than 100000 books and unique titles of 39000 approx.202 Bound Volumes of Journal To broaden and enrich the student's quality in gaining relevant knowledge, our library is providing subscription to INFLIBNET N-LIST. The college library has three different sections Circulation, Stock area, Reference Area with 30 seating capacity in reference section and 5 Computer systems in the Network Resource Centre.
